Notice! New rules for self-delivery returns at five European sites will be implemented on October 5

Recently, Amazon Europe released the "Customer Return Requirements Changes for International Sellers' Self-fulfilled Orders"

From October 5, 2021, if you ship orders from buyers outside the UK that are sold on Amazon UK, Amazon will require you to provide non-returnable returns for goods and orders (including VAT and shipping) under £20 Or provide domestic return options.

Amazon stated that in this case, a prepaid return label will be generated (see Amazon prepaid return label), and buyers can use it to return the product. To set your default UK return address, please visit the seller’s account information page, go to Settings>Account Information>Delivery and Return Information section, click on the return address, and then fill in the appropriate address.


If you do not provide Amazon with a default return address in the UK for items and orders under £20, Amazon will automatically refund the buyer on your behalf if the return request falls within the scope of Amazon's return policy, without requiring the buyer to return the product Here you are (no refund for return).


Obviously, this update of Amazon will help to simplify and standardize the return process of low-cost products for buyers and sellers, where international labels are usually more expensive than products. So, if you don’t have a UK default return address, international return providers on Amazon’s solution provider network may be able to help.

The above policy also applies to sites in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, and applies to all goods and orders (including VAT and shipping) under 25 Euros.
