Previously, many countries or their media claimed that the anti-epidemic materials exported by my country had quality defects, and it was suspected that they had purchased materials from unqualified suppliers.

In order to ensure the quality and safety of exported medical supplies, standardize the export order, and ensure the quality of materials purchased by various countries, my country has implemented new export regulations since April 2020.

The new regulations stipulate that when exporting the said medical materials to the customs department, the export enterprises must provide a written or electronic declaration, promising that the exported products have obtained the Chinese medical device product registration certificate and meet the quality of the importing country and region. According to the standard requirements, the customs shall carry out the inspection and assessment on the basis of the medical device product registration certificate approved by the drug supervision and administration department.
