Question 1: Can individuals in mainland China send anti-epidemic items such as masks to other countries/regions?
Used as gifts between relatives and friends, such as masks and other anti-epidemic items (such as gloves, protective clothing, goggles, etc.) that are within a reasonable range for personal use and the amount does not exceed 1,000 yuan can be exported normally. Our company does not accept alcoholic items.
Question 2: What import and export customs clearance documents should be provided by the sender/recipient, and what are the specific requirements?
The export-related documents to be prepared by the sender include waybills, invoices, and present the original ID/passport or provide a copy. Please provide the number of masks when filling in the receipt. Masks and anti-epidemic items must be produced by regular manufacturers, and do not purchase and ship "three noes" products.

Question 4: How long does it normally take for the recipient to receive the anti-epidemic items such as masks?
Please understand that during the epidemic prevention and control period, due to various factors such as flights and national prevention and control measures, we expect that there may be delays in customs clearance and delivery, but we will try our best to arrange delivery. Issues related to the company's delivery of anti-epidemic articles (masks)
1. Low-value goods or sample advertisements whose export value does not exceed RMB 5,000 and are not medical devices can be declared as category C express if the quantity is reasonable and does not involve export supervision certificates. For non-medical masks, protective clothing, and infrared thermometers, in order to ensure standardized declaration and fast customs clearance, please provide a non-medical confirmation letter (click here to download the template) and affix the official seal of the sending company (or business seal).
2. If the export value is more than RMB 5000, it will be declared as general cargo (non-express). The sender needs to confirm whether the exported product belongs to the scope of medical supplies in Announcement 5 before sending the shipment. According to the reasons for export, the specific declaration can be roughly divided into the following two types of situations (*Important Note*: "Three-nos" products cannot be exported):
The first category is used for sales and export
According to the general trade declaration, enter the "medical device registration certificate number" (if it is a medical device) in the remarks column of the customs declaration form. The required customs declaration materials include:
1. Waybill, invoice, packing list, contract, proxy declaration letter (or electronic entrustment)
2. Declaration of exported medical supplies (applicable to five types of medical supplies: new coronavirus detection reagents, medical masks, medical protective clothing, ventilators, and infrared thermometers). The second category is for donations or assistance
According to other import and export free, donated materials, and aid materials for export declaration, enter the "medical device registration certificate number" (if it is a medical device) in the remarks column of the customs declaration form. The required customs declaration materials include:
1. Same as the first category above
2. For inter-enterprise donations and the recipients of materials donated by Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, a description or agreement must be provided
3. Aid materials require foreign aid certificates issued by the National Aid Materials Office or local foreign aid material supply stations
